Thu Vinh Nguyen is a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) who has been a valued part of the Truong Neuroscience Institute team since the beginning of her medical career. Working closely alongside Daniel Truong, she has developed a strong foundation in patient-centered neurological care and clinical excellence.

Thu Vinh earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from West Coast University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach, where she also participated in undergraduate research focused on Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs). Her clinical training includes diverse rotations in dermatology, emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, women’s health, and surgery, providing her with a comprehensive and well-rounded medical background.

Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Thu Vinh spent over two years at Truong Neuroscience Institute serving in multiple roles including Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant, Referral Coordinator, and Assistant Manager. During this time, she gained extensive experience in patient care coordination, neurological procedures, EMR systems, and clinical operations. Her long-standing experience within the practice allows her to provide attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate care to every patient she serves.

Thu Vinh is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also conversational in Vietnamese, helping her connect with and care for a diverse patient population throughout the community.
